Description
A cooking class that dives into the unique flavors of Palermo's cuisine
Your apron is on, and your cooking class has begun. A professional chef will educate you in the preparation of traditionally representative Sicilian cultural dishes in the manner of engagement typical of our cooking classes. You will then have an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and experience cooking these dishes practically by yourself while the chef directs each step of the process. We’ll also discuss and share with you during your culinary experience which are the right authentic ways to prepare and taste Sicilian food. Let me give you a hint of the things you will learn to prepare and taste.
During your Palermo cooking class, you will be instructed to prepare a three-course meal of Sicilian specialities from the menu (it may vary according to seasonal ingredients) which’ll incorporate crafting “arancine,” that is rice balls which are fried and stuffed with meat sauce and peas, as well as Pasta alla norma prepared tomato sauce, fried in eggplants, and salted ricotta and served with the world-famous Sicilian dessert: cannoli!
Craft Your Own Unforgettable Sicilian Dining Experience
Finally, you will be going to reap the fruits of your labor by having yourself Sicilian tastes within the friendly atmosphere of our cooking school based in Palermo. By the time you leave, you’ll have rekindled your love for Sicilian food, complete with recipes and ways to pull off these dishes in your own kitchen.
