Description

A trip to Italy will make you love its amazing food; but, learning how to cook a typical meal is another story. Join our special and unique private cooking class that comes with a visit to the Florence food market, and learn how to make famous and not-so-easy Tuscan dishes like bruschetta, fresh pasta, and a dessert.

Check out the best treats at the Florence Food Market with a fun chef.

Start with a stroll to the great and old Florence market, where you can get everything needed for making your tasty lunch. In this lively place, you will see butchers, bakers, and farmers giving usual goods that are nearby and made here. Your smart and friendly chef, who will help you during this experience, will aid you in picking the best quality ingredients right for your preparations. We also welcome vegetarians; please tell us before.

Making Real and Tasty Tuscan Cooking

After chatting with the local farmers and getting all the important fresh ingredients, you will go to the food prep area that is just a little walk from the Florence food market. But before starting your work on making your lunch , you will enjoy a nice tasting of traditional local products to wake you up before doing the culinary tasks that come next. Guided by your expert chef, you will learn how to make a three-course meal . The menus might change with the season but they will always have bruschetta as an appetizer and then pasta like ravioli or tagliatelle for a main dish followed by dessert. Enjoy the food you have prepared and try to recreate it at home in a relaxed atmosphere.

It will surely come to pass after your dishes have been prepared that it will be time to sit down and enjoy them with two glasses of good selected Chianti wine. The experience of private cooking class in Florence would be meaningless if you could not go back home to share this knowledge with friends and family. This lovely experience will get you a free recipe book so that you can recreate all those traditional dishes plus a participation certificate. If your visit happens on a Sunday or public holiday when the Mercato Centrale is closed, there's going to be a substitute intro and extra tasting at the cookery school.
