About
In Palermo, unwind and see the city's attractions on a bike with a small group tour. This lighthearted approach is the perfect way to explore Sicily's primary metropolitan center. With the help of your guide, you will be led through the city's most notable locations, including the Unesco highlights. Incredible Palermo offers a thrilling bike tour that showcases the city’s vivid history and eclectic culture. As you pedal alongside the guide, you’ll receive a condensed historical overview of Palermo, a city renowned for its extraordinary artistic and architectural heritage. Marvel at the various styles of architecture in Palermo that reflect the influence of the Arabic, Byzantine, and Norman empires that have shaped the city's identity over time. Finally, be captivated by the city's cathedral, an iconic landmark that epitomizes the city's origins and is home to one of the world's oldest churches. Your guide will take you on a tour of the Martorana Church, where you will have a chance to observe the intricate architectural designs inspired by a combination of Arab and Norman influences. The excursion will also include a walk-by of the Palazzo dei Normanni, as well as other exterior sites of interest. It's time to take some rest, breathe in some fresh air and indulge in a deliciously unique Sicilian granita after a rigorous bike ride. If you believe that a granita only refers to crushed ice blended with fruit to beat the scorching sun, you've never experienced a Sicilian granita. This semi-frozen treat is crafted with sugar and water, which is then infused with tasteful flavors. It's the perfect way to enhance your admiration for Palermo's incredible stories.Inclusions
