Description

Get ready for an amazing sensory experience as we take the third largest church in the world around you. This is an iconic representative of the Renaissance, and this specially guided visit offers great opportunities to step up onto the terraces that climb up to Brunelleschi's Dome, allowing an incredible panorama of Florence to unfurl below!

Get special access to explore every part of a truly amazing church around the world

Take advantage of a once-in-a-lifetime guided tour of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence. Marvel at the colossal steeples and the famous freestanding cupola designed by Filippo Brunelleschi himself. There is nothing quite like emerging onto the steps that lead to the terraces and the summit of the dome from which this beautiful town can be appreciated in a 360-degree panoramic view. The tickets in this private trip not only save you from standing in a long line but also would help you make it up to the terraces of the Duomo which are most of the time closed for the visitors. Your tour escort would brief you on all regarding the cathedral, importance in the history of the city and artistic treasures it contains.

Take a moment to enjoy the beautiful artwork inside the Cathedral

Some of the gems of this extensive tour of the Florence Cathedral are the Crypt of Santa Reparata, Paolo Uccello’s clock, Vasari’s frescoes, and Bandinelli’s marble choir. Get set for that fantastic trip into the world of Christianity. What’s more, the most spectacular part of this trip is going to roll out. You go up to the top of the structure and have a view that you will never forget.

See the city from a unique angle

Forget about the ascent intimidating you for the investment will definitely be worth it. As a matter of fact, the dome is an element of aesthetic beauty that takes you almost into heaven itself. With a climb up these stairs set in narrow open-air passages never before open to the public for over centuries, you will come up first to the panoramic terraces and then to the top of Brunelleschi's dome. And from here you will see a view of the city unparalleled anywhere else. Someone may ask how far he has to walk to go to Florence Cathedral. To be explicit, it is 153 steps up to the terraces, and another 310 steps further up to the ceiling of Brunelleschi's Dome. Nevertheless, believe us: it is damn cool to see that even a hundred meters above the city.
