A day like true sovereigns
Do not miss a fascinating visit to this imposing and beautiful eighteenth-century neoclassical Villa with almost seven hundred rooms and its lush gardens!
The real path starts from the first floor of the central body of the Villa, which houses the meeting rooms, magnificent richly decorated environments where guests could wait to be received: the Dance Hall, the Tapestry Room, the Throne Room, The Birds Room, the Mirrors Room and the Dining Room.
Moving on from the staircase of honor, you will visit the second noble floor, with the private apartments of the sovereigns as the Apartment of the Emperors of Germany (characterized by the geometrical shapes of the floor recalling those of the ceiling), the Apartment of Prince of Naples and the Apartment of the Duchess of Genoa.
Finally on the top floor you will be welcomed by the Belvedere, a bright setting that allows a panoramic view of the park, as well as thhe apartments for the servants.
Also included in the complex are the Rotonda dell'Appiani, the Court Theater, the Royal Chapel and the outdoor court called Serrone, a real greenhouse for the botanical crops of Monza.
Outside, you will then be captured by the Royal Gardens where the neoclassical Temple, the Rose Garden (which now houses the International Rose Contest), and the neo-Gothic Tower stand out; furthermore they are famous for the great variety of secular trees called the "green giants".
