About

This awesome journey starts by skipping the line and taking an elevator to reach Terraces of the Cathedral from where you can have a close-up of some spires and statues decorating it while enjoying a stunning view over Milan with its most famous landmarks. An elevator will take you up to the terraces, but for your return, you'll need to walk on foot.

After this, we go down to visit the Cathedral, famous as the largest church in Italy and described as one of the most splendid in the world. Within its walls are included the opportunity to appreciate the stunning stained glass windows, altars, funerary monuments, organs, tiburium and Holy Nail. Santa Maria Nascente is the dedication of the Cathedral that is also a parish church for Santa Tecla. When the cathedral is closed for services or feast days, our journey leads us to the Museo del Duomo, which is located at the Royal Palace. The museum tells an interesting story of the Cathedral, showing its creations with a large collection of models, documents, drawings, and works. Particularly interesting is the Sala delle Colonne: it was formerly one of the places that housed the echoes of the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo. Be prepared to marvel at these beautiful ancient buildings that hold within their bosoms secrets from one of the most important cities in Italy. Afterwards, you will have free time to spend on your own inside of cathedral as this is included into program. We then proceed to the famous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. It is located in the heart of the old city of Milan, this civil construction connects the area Duomo with La Scala theater and Teatro Museum having the same names. Renowned sophisticated boutiques and elegant stores pass through neorenaissance architecture style galleria that described as "Milan's drawing room." Moreover, it is considered one of the most famous examples of European iron architecture ever to have been created and one of the first shopping malls to have ever been built in the world. Embark upon this enthralling tour, where you get the opportunity to dive deep into history, splendid art, and architectural masterpieces that make Milan so remarkable. Take a chance to explore cultural treasures of the city! **Please note that effective March 1ST, 2025, the stop at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II will be removed from the tour itinerary due to a reduction in time.**
