Looking for a unique and unforgettable experience in Florence? Our signature Private Accademia Gallery Tour is designed to offer you and your companions an exclusive and breathtaking artistic journey. Don't miss out on this opportunity to make the most of your time in Florence! Depart with your assigned, exclusive English-speaking guide, a licensed specialist in art and art history, and journey towards the stunning Accademia Gallery. Possess the good fortune of being granted early admission to the museum, bypassing the tedious lines. Nestled in the city's epicenter, the Accademia Gallery houses a globally renowned creation: Michelangelo's David, an esteemed piece of Renaissance statuary. The statue, which was carved from marble by a young Michelangelo between 1501 and 1504, initially occupied a spot near the city hall, Palazzo Vecchio. However, it was subsequently moved to the Accademia in 1873 from Piazza della Signoria. The statue serves as a symbol of the Republic of Florence's commitment to protecting civil liberties. The independent state was constantly under threat from stronger neighboring states and the Medici family's hegemony. With a deep dive into David's backstory and creative contribution, take pleasure in feasting your eyes on Michelangelo's most popular unfinished sculptures - the Prisoners, St. Matthew and the Pietà - and, if you have time, have a look at the other artworks showcased there too. Among them, are extremely impressive religious paintings dating back between the 13th to 16th century, plaster sculptures originating from the 19th century and some antique musical instruments from the Cherubini Conservatory.

NOTE:
In spite of your skip-the-line priority tickets, please kindly note that stepping your foot inside the Accademia Gallery will necessitate passing through a security check, which unfortunately may possibly result in a delay particularly during peak periods.
